yes it works and is a tracphone

it clearly says CRICKET across the top of the screen (zoom in and look at top left side of the phone) it will only work with CRICKET (will not work for tracfone or any other cell phone company )

actualy you can go and get specific sim cards that adapt the phone to the sim cards network
