Used TomTom GPS with car charger. Works great, but I do not have the instruction booklet anymore. It's very easy to use.

Does it need updates that would cost extra money, and is there a way to find out how to do that, since you don't have the instruction book anymore? Just wondering if you could give a little more info about how old or outdated it with the maps.

It updates via GPS and I had it in my vehicle until last week when I decided purge a bunch of items I do not use anymore. You can create a TomTom account and there are pay features, but I never used it.

You register it at their website. My nerd of a fiance bought a celebrity voice to do the navigation for his GPS.
