Description

The listing, Gold N Diamond Heart Bracelet has ended.

I found this on the beach a few weeks ago.
It is 7 3/4 inches long, double clasp, heart design. Gold in color Has stamp which I pictured but even with a magnify glass I can not read it. So I'm not sure it's real. Although I found it on the beach ands its immaculate. No tarnish of any kind. I would think if it was fake it would look like crap. Especially after being in the surf at the beach
Plus I don't think much fake jewelry has this type of clasp. But I can't say for certain. I have no time to take it to be checked. ( looks real to me). So that leads to the stones, diamonds or not? No way of knowing.
Either way this an amazing piece of jewelry. Looks real to me. And I only wear real jewelry.

I have a very similar bracelet and the exact same clasp that is 925 silver with a Heavy Gold Electroplate. This is beautiful! Could be 10k or 14k though!

Nice find!U R gonna score some big time credits if u can validate if it's solid gold. Looks like at least 10 grams, even @ 10k, you'll get some big bids, including mine. Here's how you do it.Got a magnet laying around somewhere in the house? On the fridge? Give the chain a test, 90% of the time the clasp will stick, so test the chain, if it sticks, it's plated, if it doesn't.........ka-ching!

Hi,I apologize for just now commenting back to your post and if I messed up your bids!A couple of people had already commented the same thing as I did though so I did not think it was any big deal...but I do apologize if it did.You never made any representation anyway.I was just surprised to see what I think is the same bracelet I wear a lot!I mean I wore it most everyday for years when I was a waitress. It never turned when I washed my hands a zillion times.Nor did any stones fall out...and still have not on either count. It is very well made and heavy but not too heavy if that makes sense.I find I can wear it with anything from jeans to nighttime formal.
As far as the clasp:
Something I can't read
925
Something else I can't read
As far as if it sticks...no but neither does sterling silver.I learned that the hard way when I listed a bracelet that was stamped 925 in TWO places. The lady that won it was real nice about it but informed me that it should not if it was real silver.I FREAKED out as I try to list any details I can.I told her to keep it and click for a refund and waited impatiently till I could click to give her the points back and tell her a hundred times sorry. She was so nice about it!Now I keep a magnet in my drawer.
I would be heartbroken over loosing mine. But I don't care if you take what I said or not.I was only back because my daughter loves mine so much I was thinking of trying to get it for her so we would have matching ones,no other reason. But again my apologies.

michthekid is right, the link put your bids to a dead stop, shoulda been at least 90k+ by now. think it's too late but a pic of the bracelet not sticking, woulda helped.
did some calculations of my own and have two questions to justify if i bid on this or not.
what kind of magnet did you use?
the digital scale you used, is it calibrated?
regardless of the bids- it's always a win-win, right? tyvm for listing this!

My scale is calibrated I use it to weigh all my baby birds. I'm an exotic bird breeder. The magnet is a heavy duty cube magnet that sits on my fridge

Ooh so still a chance it's real and not the one in the link. Hmmmm this is the craziest auction I've ever had. Hopefully I won't find anymore jewelry at the beach while shell collecting. Shells are so much easier. I know they're real. Lol

If you really want to see the stamp and get rid of the glare take a dark marker and go over the stamp with it. It should come out clearer and get rid of all that glare

Too late to go search for a marker. Auction almost over. And no one can be mad. I've not lied about anything. I've tried by best. It really is a beautiful bracelet Thank you for your tips for the future Who knows might need them. Thank you.

Oh I know Hun I just don't want people getting mad at you for what other people are saying and I noticed you said you tested another bracelet you owned that way. Don't think it's fake it could just be rhodium coated which is magnetic or it could just be a solder point that is sticking!

I was just reading the comments about the magnet thing! It is absolutely not true and so outdated the dinosaurs used to be around when they used that technique! I am a jeweler and the magnet myth is getting waaaay out of hand!

I have strained to read it. I wear contacts and readers on top of the contacts. Used a magnify glass just can't read it. I stood outside in the sun. Nothing. I'm so sorry. My husband only has one eye with vision so he was no help. My neighbor either It's just a blur to me. I'm so sorry

STERLING silver is a non-ferrous(contains iron) metal alloy, so a magnet will not stick to it. But get this- the total weight of the found bracelet is 10 grams. The total metal weight of the 925 bracelet is 7.8 grams. The total stone weight is 2.92 carats. 2.92 carats converted to gram weight is 0.58 grams, which would make it lighter than the found bracelet. Aren’t they supposed to be the same weight? Somethings not right. Thought I’d throw that in.

any way of posting another pic of the stamp but this time lay it down instead of holding it, maybe it will come out clearer

As I stated earlier. I took at least 20 pics. These were the best. I even tried like someone else suggested. Taking the pic then zoom. No luck. I'm sorry I truly wish I could read it. Even asked my neighbor. No luck. I have never tried to deceive any one on any of my auctions. I just thought this is a great find. As I don't wear yellow gold I though I'd auction it for someone else. So I'm still not sure if this is real or not. It's just absolutely gorgeous

Any chance that adorable grandson of your or two sets of reading Glasses with a Magnifying glass to find out what the stamp says, it could drastically raise your bids, it woud be a pity to find out after it was gold!! Thank you.

No, my grandson did come over he came down with the flu. I still don't think it's the one the girl with the link has. This does not stick to a magnet. But I have no way of knowing for sure.

Yay. I thought its real too. I'm not going by that link someone posted. It doesn't stick to a magnet and they never replied back after posting that link.
