If only a jump ring stuck it may be that the jump ring had been replaced or that the ring itself is plated :) If the rest didn't stick at all it is more than likely real :)

the rest did not stick, but another gal that had one that also said 14k was tested and not real. there for I am giving it away as plated. but I will be adding a real silver item, and if the bid goes higher I will add some more good stuff:) thanks for the info

O.O sry for all the comments but there is a few ways to test for plating. Submerging in vinegar- If its real it will have no effect or reaction, plated will turn black. Scrape on unglazed porcelain, if it leaves gold line its real if it leaves black mark its plated. Rub on glass, If its real it will not scrape the glass, if fake it will. Or look up the archimedes method where you weigh it then measure water displacement and divide. Its the safest but most complicated method. Google it. Hope this helps!

If it's plated it would say 14kgp or 14kgf or 1/20 14k something like that. Or it could be from china in which case they stamp stuff as real when it isn't. LOL. If all it says is 14k it most likely is real and at 3/4oz is worth.......$676.47 :) Happy Bidding
