my grandaughter who is 10, has read these books many times over so there is wear on them but as far as I can see, no tears, rips, or marks. they are scholastic books. These will make someone a great Christmas present!! I'm sorry about shipping but I cannot pay for that, I am on a fixed income and have done my limit this month.

After lisiting I saw that there is a small tear on the outside binding edge of the 2nd book, one day in horrorland. sorry, it does not effect the acual reading of the book.
