1)Why I don't need the battery?
A. I thought my battery had died, so I bought another one, but randomly my battery worked again. So I thought, migh as well sell the new one.

2) Do you know of the battery actually work?
Yes! When the battery was mailed to me, I out it in to see if it actually works. And yes it works great, from then on I have took the battery out and never used it again and kept using my old battery.

You have to go by the last digits on your PSP to know for sure if the battery will work on your system. If you call a game store ( Game Exchange) they can explain it better :)

I think people are just trying to get the exact same battery they had before. Just going by the picture and description. That's how I got this one anyway XD.
