The make and model is on the box & the unit itself and it will say "model #"

I have one just like that from when I had AT&T DSL service. To answer your questions...yes you do need to have AT&T service & it is an AT&T Modem - if that;s what you meant by Mo Tum...But it's not wireless...you plug it into an electrical outlet & you plug your computer into it with the cable that should be supplied with it. It's a really nice modem.

Forgot to tell you one more thing...you also have to plug it into your phone line (That is why you'll need DSL service). Those white things that you see in the box are adapters that get plugged in to all of the telephone connections in your home. Instructions on how to do this should be included. Basically you plug the adapter into your phone outlet & then the telephone cord/plug gets plugged into the adapter. You do this with every telephone extension in your home & then whichever extension you want for the modem you will plug both a telephone & the modem into it. There are adapters that only have one hole....these are for the telephone extensions. And...there's one larger adapter that has 2 holes & it is for the outlet that you want to use for the modem...so you'll plug a telephone & the modem into it. Hope I explained this alright. There are directions & you can always call the DSL technical support.
