I dont know alot about coins... i got this will working as i do all my coins. cut it looks silver all the way threw on the rim which i have a pic posted...

It probably came from a Silver proof set - Otherwise it wouldn't have the "S" mint mark. Nice coin. Watching.

Ok check it out they made a s mintmark which was copper nickel clad but there was a s mintmark that was actually silver clad with a weight of .0ueo ounce of pure silver. But it has to be proof which looking at the luster on the pics it could be the proof coin which values as 8.00
