There is no such thing as 9k, i work in a jewelry store, tger is 10k, 14k 18k & 24k.

I didn't know. I just described it as it was described when I bought it. It's from China. Regardless, it's really nice quality for costume jewelry. I own a lot of it and this stuff doesn't turn or give allergic reactions like a lot of stuff out there.
