This very detailed Minature SWISS CHALET TRINKET BOX was purchased in Montreaux, Switzerland in 1998 at a local antique shop. This precious little box is absolutely lovely; the roof is hinged and opens as you will see in the photos. The original label "Made in Switzerland" is on the bottom. The wood shows some lovely patina for its age. You could use it to present a piece of jewelry (hidden inside) for a Christmas gift, add it to your collection or add a hook for your tree to use it for an ornament.
