Description

The listing, "THE SIMS" X-BOX has ended.

By now, The Sims doesn't need much of an introduction, it has reportedly become the best-selling computer game in history. Maxis' innovative game about controlling the lives of little computer people took everyone by surprise because it was so very different from everything else at the time. The open-ended game let players create entire families of people, or "sims," and take control of their lives or simply sit back and watch them interact with each other. The Xbox version has slightly cleaner graphics, but it's otherwise identical to the PlayStation 2 version.

Game Description;

The Sims comes to the XBox! This game of cyber-suburbia lets you control a simulated person and build a life. Get a job, earn money, decorate your house, and make sure to eat and pay your bills! Keep your wits about you, and you'll become a career success living in a hip, happening pad full of the latest consumer gadgets. Fall asleep at the wheel, and you'll become an unemployed slacker living in a dirty shack. Interact with neighbors, have parties, maybe even fall in love! Includes new objects and characters. The Sims also has a two-player mode so you can race up the corporate ladder against a friend.
And The Sims also sounds good on the Xbox--it has great music, funny sound effects for various furniture items, and the clever and expressive gibberish language of "simlish" that originally appeared in the original PC games. Unfortunately, that's because most of the Xbox game's sound effects, voice samples, and music are taken straight from the PC version of The Sims. If you've never heard of The Sims before (which seems unlikely, given the series' huge success), you'll probably find The Sims' sound quirky and humorous--just as so many PC fans did three years ago.

"GameSpot Review of The Sims" is where I found this great review at. Here is the link of the website http://www.gamefly.com/game/xbox/The-Sims/105080/
I don't understand what it is you are trying to say? Are you saying I am copying SPAM for the description of my Sims game? Is there wrong or misleading information I posted about this great game? Please let me know if that is how you feel and I will try to correct it. I apologize if the description offends you, I just want people not familiar with this game to have an idea of what it is about.

Hi, I got most of my games in one box, have not found them all yet. I'll go through them tonight and see what else I can find that you might like. The RPGs are my favorite too :)

Awh :) It will be well worth it too! This really is a fun game. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy it. The only reason this one is up for auction is because my boyfriend has one too. We are both 40 years old and still love playing this game! :)

This game is very time-consuming! It's a whole lotta fun! You just have to make sure you have enough time to spend with it! Once you start the game it's difficult to turn it off :)

Doesn't matter, lol. :P Most games that's not a problem...only very specific "classics" I'd want the case for. (like we're talking the original FFs lol) :D

Right, gottcha :) I would want the cases too!

I don't have cases for every game. I mean I will send them in a case but some do not have the original case that I bought them in :)

Okay, no problem. :) If you're shipping to Canada, just like us shipping to you, you just have to delcare it...that's what the extra form is. As long as you mark the value less than $20 and check off the "Gift" box I won't have to pay duty, I'm pretty sure it's the same the other way around (from Canada to USA)...otherwise they'd charge me to receive it, lol. :P

Oh, well ok then. Thanks for telling me. I didn't know it works like that. They make you pay to get your own stuff!?! That's just wrong. Like I said, I have not shipped anything to Canada before so I wouldn't have known that so thanks for filling me in :) I'm headed to the post office to send off some things to winners of other auctions so when I get back I will take some time to get my games out and see what I have here.

Okay, probably best to make it a lower time on those auctions if you do though, because if I win them at the same time, even if you shipped the same day, because of customs I usually would be lucky to receive them by Listia's nasty 10-day deadline.... :(

Yes, I was thinking about that too. When I sent packages to the winners of my auctions a few days ago I asked the post office clerk about shipping to Canada and she gave me some forms I have to fill out before I could send you anything. I have not shipped anything to Canada before so I asked her what else I needed to do, I guess just those forms and it's done :) My boyfriend is being an ass so I'm going to bed early tonight, all the games are in the other room with him so I just don't want to be around him right now. I will go through them tomorrow when he leaves. :) Good night

Yeah, we have everything except a wii lol. My friend has been looking for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, but only for PS3 because we don't believe in paying for xbox live when it's free on the PS3. There's some older games, mostly RPGs I'm interest in myself though...but like really old lol.

I don't have any games for PS3 unless it lets you play games for PS1 & 2. Yes, that is retarded to have to pay to play when you can do it for free! The RPG's are the ones I like the most too. I"ll look to see what I have and get up with you tomorrow, it's getting close to bed time for me :) Good night...

Hi, OK Thanks, sounds great! Tell me what kind of games you like and I will see what I have. I have games for Play Station as well. Just let me know what you are interested in and I'll check on what I have.

I'll take a look - if I see one I like, maybe I'll win a couple of auctions so it saves you on shipping to 2 different places to make up for the extra couple dollars to Canada. :D

Hi, well if that is all then I have no problem shipping to Canada! Thanks for saving me a trip to the post office today :)Last week I checked on how much it would cost to ship things to India (WOW $$$$$$$) so when you asked about Canada I had the India price in mind! That is just ridiculous how much they want to send things there. Thanks for checking the game out and enjoy your weekend! :)

Hi, let me check with the post office tomorrow to see how much it would cost.. I don't want my bidders to have to pay for anything. I will leave you a message tomorrow when I get back from the post office. :)

Oh, no - it was probably unintentional in this case, it's just that it messes up the listings when a product that isn't directly related to the item being sold is mentioned in an auction - on eBay they call it "keyword spam". Since the review had "PlayStation 2" mentioned, this is turning up for people who search for PS2 things, is all. Not offended, just a heads up!
