Description

The listing, Recycled Soda Can Ornaments - Choose 1 has ended.

Handmade recycled soda can ornaments. Measure about 4" tall and are foam backed. Comes with a hanger. I have a lot of cans prepared to make ornaments again this year. These are really cute hanging on the tree with the lights reflecting on the metal. They also look good during the day with no lights on. Guys really like these made with beer cans. They also make great gift embellishments. Plus, we can recycle to help the Earth. Some cans work better than others. It depends on the design and which way it is facing. If you have a favorite soda or beer you would like me to use I will see if I have the cans. Photos are samples that I have in stock right now to choose from.

They are pretty smooth. They kind of bend around the foam when I cut them. I would still be careful. I would not let little kids play with them. I can set up a new auction with 4 with a GIN if you'd like. Listia charges a 10% fee so I have to set the points higher to get what I think is fair. I get more points when I auction them separately.

Saw one of these on the internet and I have added designs as I find them that fit the cans. I worked for the Texas Environmental Commission and we were always looking for items to recycle. We started decorating our Christmas tree with them because we couldn't use lights. The can ornaments reflected the lights in the office and was a recycled item. From there I started using them for gift embellishments and sending them to friends in Christmas cards for their trees. They have been a lot of fun.

Thanks. These take a little more time. The hanger on the top is cut separately and has to be glued on. I also score them to make them reflect light more and not look so flat. Guess it is just me. I think they look better that way.

I'm loving that green mountain dew one! :) Just what I'm looking for! Sure hope I can win this one, too! This is such a cool idea. My mother used to make little doll house furniture out of tin cans years ago. She would curl the can for the legs and arms of chairs and table and stuff. These remind me of when she used to do that. Thanks so much for putting these up for auction. :)

Good luck. The ones I have are done with the vintage Santa pictures. The cans are from the past two years. This year, I haven't seen any on the Coke cans. They are perfect for the ball ornaments.
