The listing, Neat 1950s National Tuberculosis TB or American Lung Association Donor Contributor lapel pocket pin has ended.
Offered is an interesting original 1" by 1/2" hard plastic red lapel or pocket donor, volunteer or contributor pin tab or pinback with the original pin. TB was an early historic major health issue.
It was referred to as the DOUBLE E-BARRED CROSS, the symbol of the National Tuberculosis Association.
These were distributed by the National Tuberculosis Association and later the American Lung Association in schools in the late 1950s and elsewhere when children and adults donated or contributed to the American Lung Association.
TB or tuberculosis was part of the cure and education focus of the American Lung Association at that time.
I am offering this pin from my long term pinback collection.
