The listing, 5 Listia Won Rings that I Don't Want - Free Shipping has ended.

http://www.listia.com/auction/679702 - "Engagement wedding set rings woman's rings size 9 to 91/2 18k HGE nice rings silver ton i bought at auction sale would not fit my wife's finger the stones are ZZ i think so not certain" - HGE means heavy gold electroplate but some has worn off these rings. The stones did not test as real diamonds - the lot went for 668 credits. My sizing from a PDF ring sizing document I found online, shows size 11 for both rings.

http://www.listia.com/auction/549984 - these are supposed to be Sterling Silver and are marked that way. These were disappointing to me because they are lightweight and maybe too polished. They are obviously brand new at least. They are size 8.5 and 10. They went for 1910 credits.

http://www.listia.com/auction/471189 - this ring is quite beautiful, but again the diamonds did not test as real.
The sapphire, topaz or tanzaanite might be real or man made variety. I found who I believe is the manufacturer which is JTV as the box the ring came in has the same stripes as the background of the website. It is probably rhodinium plated over maybe silver although the rhodinium is starting to wear off. Rings are rhodinium plated because it is a hard substance that doesn't usually wear off easily. Again it's quite a breathtaking ring, just not very valuable. Today it's worth at most $25. It went for 2020 credits. It's a very small ring size 5.5, I think although it's difficult to exactly size because of the big crown.

Yes, that right. By the way the 925 silver rings weigh 1.6 grams each. Sorry for laying on the guilt by reporting the amount of credits I paid :-(.

Also by the way the first two rings appear to be antiques. The stones are not diamonds, but they have a greenish tinge which might be moissanite, but they didn't test as that either. I suppose they could be white sapphires.

I take that back, the stones are somewhat yellowish clear stones not greenish.

I appreciate your honesty in these rings it is so nice to know there is some honest sellers as yourself out there as I myself am the same way and I feel you should list every little thing that could be of useful imformation to potential buyers so I really appreciate that you did that in this auction. I am wondering aren't you the person who sold a diamond tester on listia and if so will you be listing anymore I want one so please let me know if you will be or were I can find a good one yet inexpensive please? Thanks!

Hi, yes that's me. Thanks for your compliments, in jewelry I think it's crazy not to be honest as how well you do depends so much on your reputation...I don't think I will list more diamond testers because the ones I listed turned out to be Chinese copies of a Japanese brand named Culti. But if you look on eBay you can find the diamond testers there for $15 when you include shipping, they are called "Diamond Selector II" They are copies but they still work. I tested them. Be patient though, they take about 3 weeks to arrive from Hong Kong.

By the way, I got a ring sizing stick from Amazon today. I was right about the first four rings. The last one though appears to be size 4 3/4. Also note for 3 of the rings as mentioned the plating is wearing off and if this irritates your finger don't bid...

You CANNOT size a plated ring. It must be .925 sterling or 10KT gold to re-size.
FINALLY an honest seller like me! Thank YOU! I get cheated about every other auction by super enlarged pics and lots of shipping details and no item info but the title!

Cool. Thanks for the info about sizing. I guess your right moving the bonus ring back to perfect circular might cause more of the plating to flake off. Oh well it's sort of circular but I guess defaults now to the smaller 4 3/4 size.
