Offered for bidding is a pair of vintage Japanese earrings. They have metal screwbacks with a thin pink ruffled plastic flower and greenery base. They measure approximately 3/4" in diameter and 1/2" rise. They came from my Grandmother's storage box of vintage jewelry. The plastic is 'ruffled' for a carnation appearance. Screwback work perfectly, 'JAPAN' is embossed on the round end of the screw mechanisim. Petals are a bit fragile and a few have broken off over the years of storage and aging, but it hardly shows and still looks natural!

Yes, I did have another pair up for auction a while back. My Grandmother was known to buy more than one pair of the same costume earrings (if it was affordable) because she was always losing one (ha, I take after her!). This is one of those cases, as I've found this second pair. She may or may not have worn these, I just do not know. She had so many screwback earrings from that era and worked at a local store that sold many such items.
