The listing, Unused Vintage COMIC POSTCARD Bamforth & Co. DRINKING Men has ended.

I am listing a bunch of postcards this week, so none will get a lengthy description. Scans are large enough so that you should be able to know exactly what you are bidding on.

If you should win 4 or more cards this week, I will include an extra one of my choice, as a bonus.

Most cards are antique. A few are just older. Some are used; some are unused. One is just novel to me (the one with the aphid)! All cards are in good condition unless noted otherwise. Please ask any questions before bidding.

This is my last auction of postcards before Christmas. So if you are wanting one for the collector on your gift list, look these over!

Hysterical! If I hadn't been married to an alcoholic who DID land in jail a time or two and was struck down in his early 50's by liver cancer.... I'd think it was funnier. It is a great snapshot of the time and how we have treated a very heinous disease, a family disease lightly. Thank you for listing this.... by the way, My children are half-Dutch, so I do have my eye on that one as well. Best of luck.

The British were quite big on postcards portraying drinkers in the early part of the last century! Comical, but I understand it would not be humorous to someone that was living with the REAL problem! :)
