Description

The listing, GREAT GIFT Hot Wheels Case with 68 Cars, Fantastic Vintage Condition has ended.

This is a great deal on a Vintage Collectors Case for Hotwheels and Matchbox Cars. Holds up to 100 cars, includes ramp for "Pit Stops", and entry onto 'racetrack' (racetrack itself not included).

In very good condition. There are many that have little, to no wear, some are well loved and played with, which I think are the best kind!

Case measures 12" x 10.5" x 5.5". Inside is double sided with left side covered by makeshift ramp/pit stops.

VERY cool for the kid who loves to play with cars. INSTANT collection with potential to be a collectors item at some time in the future.

68 cars are included, variety of cars, matchbox, hotwheels, may be some unnamed cars in there as well.

Great gift for the man who wants to add to his collection or for the boy who is just starting out!

GREAT, FUN GIFT!!!
There is no way I can pay for shipping on this because it is VERY heavy!! If sent by priority mail you can get this by Christmas as I am only making this a 7 day auction. AND I have a reasonable GIN considering what you are getting. This is an amazing set, full of ALL VINTAGE cars. Some are older, possibly from the 70's that were passed down to my oldest son and some are as new as the middle 90's when my youngest son played with these. My best ESTIMATE for this is about 15-25 dollars for Priority shipping...but that is a GUESS so please do not hold me to it. IF you use the GIN feature you may be able to use parcel post and still get it by Christmas. When I have a spare minute I'll weigh it and will have a better idea of shipping cost to the lower 48 states.

NOTE!! From now on my auctions will only be sent thru paypal shipping. If you don't have a paypal account that's ok! You only need a bank account or a credit/debit card. I NEVER see your bank info. Thank you!

Any ?'s please ask!!

Do you have the average years of the vehicles? Like 70's or 80's? or newer

I know that some of them were passed down from my son's dad and he had cars from the 60's, and 70's. There are probably more cars from the late 80s and 90s than vintage cars though. When i get it out tomorrow to weigh the box I'll take a look thru the cars and see if I can give you a better answer. :)

Sure. I will do that as soon as i can. I'm sick as a dog right now with some stomach flu thing but I'll try to get the weight up for you tomorrow some time. Can't really move off the couch today, and really hope tomorrow will be better....way too much to do this time of year!

Ok, sorry for the delay. I'm so sick and have just managed to get this boxed up and ready to be weighed, Here are the dimensions so that you can figure out the shipping cost on your own. My zip code is 28227. The dimensions are 14" wide by 16" length by 11" height. Just go to usps.com and go to the section where you can get a shipping estimate. It weighs a little over 11 lbs now, that's before taping it up and a little more bubble wrap. I'd put in 12 lbs to be on the safe side for the shipping cost. It will probably weigh LESS than the 12 lbs and you will only have to pay the EXACT shipping. But I can't give the exact weight til I add the tape and all that stuff...it does add ounces to it because I am a taper...I don't want it opening up.

As for the ages of the cars I'd say most of them are on the newer side, but, that said, I WILL add at least TEN 1950's-60's cars if you do the GIN. Again, sorry for the delay, this bug I have is NOT fun at all and I'm just dragging. A little better than yesterday so hope tomorrow will be even better!! Too much to do to be sick!!

also, when I say newer, I mean from the 80s and 90s but there ARE some older cars in there as well. Please remember that these are well loved and well played with but most are in good to very good shape. Some may have dirt/mud etc on them, and that's from my son's playing with them. They've been in this case for years now as my youngest is now 17, so it's been at least 7-8 years since they've been played with. See the above comment for a new GIN OFFER!!
