Description

The listing, Very pretty simulated ruby ring! has ended.

Nice ring....size 5 to 6 I believe. It is stamped 14 K, but I have never had the ring tested! It shines very nice, but I have my doubt that it is truly what it says it is? Possibly a lower grade gold...not sure. However it does look real. Bid at your own discretion. I don't have a gold tester and I got this ring as a gift. It's just not my style is all :)

Please don't let one rotten apple spoil the bunch!!! We're " GIVING " our things away. Most of us are NOT professional, just. friendly people swapping things we simply don't want anymore. I get so frustrated with Professionals wanting something for free then being upset. Plus a true professional knows they are getting something for free, take their chances & DON'T COMPLAIN. . I'm truly sorry someone did this to you. It isn't fair or acceptable behavior. Ok. Enough. I'm fanned & watching. God Bless. :)

Does it say anything else, like 14KE or 14KGF?

No it is stamped 14K...and although it doesn't discolor - I'm pretty sure it's not. And I do want to say that I just had another ring similar to this that sold for 5000 and the person complained because it wasn't 14 K even though it stamped that. I never had them tested so I just don't want a negative feedback on this sale. The other person said I was trying to pull a scam and couldn't be trusted. I have a 100% rating up until her. I would rather take it off auction than to have someone thinking they are getting a 14k gold ring. Understand? I don't have a gold tester so really I don't know what it is made of. I'm a fair & very giving person, and don't want anyone unhappy with my auctions.

It happens. I was fortunate my buyer decided to give me the benefit of the doubt. Most of us list items in good faith and sometimes we happen to be wrong because a dishonest person for example stamps 24k on a ring that's been painted.

Yeah...I know I'm not here to take away from people! I'm about as honest as they come!!! Much rather tell the truth and people don't bid because of it, than lie and them not being happy with what they got! FOR SURE! I just didn't like the feedback, but I was in the right! Oh well, like Joe said - life is too short to worry about this kinda stuff! Don't sweat the pety...pet the sweaty!! lol Thanks for the input. Lori
