Description

The listing, Vintage Woman's Gold Bracelet has ended.

Got on here thinking it was real (or at least plated) I have a metal allergy and can only wear the real deal. No markings, but sister works at Gold Rush and said the chain itself is plated, the ends/clasp however is not and made me break out :( It sucks because I loooove it but I can't wear it :( My loss, your gain

Indianspirit & silvianamama are the kind people who make listia an unpleasant place, complaining about the smallest things.

Your description was correct. You never stated in the tittle that it was "GOLD 24k" or real gold. You described the color of the bracelet. Simple as that. And made a broader description in the auction like you should have.

I get those annoying people on here all of the time. There are way too many cheap complainers on this site and that's a fact lol

very nice auction. If you ever come accross a piece of jewlery that has a piece of it that makes you break out try this little method that my dad does with the metal on his watches. He puts clear fingernail polish on them so his skin doesnt break out.

Ya I do that for the metal buttons on jeans so my stomach doesn't break out haha I feel like it ruins jewlery though

You *must* be a criminal in disguise for listing a gold bracelet AS a gold bracelet!! Oh noooo! LOL juuust kidding, of course! ;)
Ignore, block, and hide comments from naive people that are illiterate and/or don't want to take the "daunting" five seconds it takes to read your entire description ;)
I love vintage jewelry - I actually sell a lot of vintage & antiquities, myself! :)
I can see you haven't been on the site long, so do NOT let these bird-brained whiny little girls on here get under your skin...they're just butthurt that they don't have enough credits to bid, because they probably spent their credits on dirty used flip-flops, a used toothbrush, and a "magic love spell." *wink* ;) <3

Even plated jewelry can make you break out especially if its old. This may be why polish helps. Over time the metal under the gold will seep into the gold itself. Thats why you can test plated jewelry with acid and it will disolve even though you dont scrape off the entire top layer. Nice auction. F&W

Charmer is right on the money! That's exactly what my husband and I do - it keeps you from breaking out AND helps the finish on the metal last longer! :) Although if your skin is ultra sensitive I just say skip it altogether ;)
Definitely doesn't ruin anything - I did it on my husbands brand new watch I got him last Christmas and it looks brand new still - and hasn't faded a single bit! :)
*Sigh* back to work I go. That was my fun moment for the day lol
Have a great night - hope your auction goes FAB-OO-LOUS ;)

Oh my goodness, this is a "meant to be fun" site, I thought. I think that your title and decription were just as decriptive in the best way possible and with no deceptiveness. Just wanted to give you some encouragement. Merry Christmas! Fanned and watching! Lisa

Yes but your title is deceptive

The color is GOLD. Therefore putting the title as 'gold bracelet' is the truth. It is meant to grab attention, not deceive. If you don't want to bid after seeing that it is not solid, then don't bid, but do not accuse me of deceiving people when I clearly state in the description that the chain is plated and the ends/clasp is gold-toned. I never say 'solid' anywhere on here.

You did to do a LARGE update then, that this is NOT real GOLD as stated in the title, but Gold PLATED. thanks

I have it written in the description that it is plated my title does not say "solid" it simply says "gold" which it is. The update was a lower GIN.
