what kind of flavor do they have? harsh, sweet, wild,delicate? do they cook like any other podded bean or do they need to be shelled first? thanks

They are very succulent. Like... Well like a French green bean I'm not sure how else to describe them. We didn't she'll them, just steamed like a regular bean and they turn green when cooked.
