Description

The listing, Aphrodite Hibiscus cuttings x 3 has ended.

You get 3 cuttings off of my mother plant from my yard. I have two of them. They are so pretty when they bloom from early summer to the first frost. I will cut them right before shipping them to the winner. They are fast growers.

When you receive the cuttings, prepare a well draining pot with potting mix. Don't put them into a huge pot because Hibiscus root better when they are not alone in a pot. Thoroughly soak the soil. Poke your finger into the soil, dip the bottom end marked with an X into water and then into rooting hormone. Tap off the excess powder off and place the bottom of the cutting into the hole. Push the moistened soil around the cutting so there are not air pockets. Find a spot in your yard that is partially shaded area and make sure that the soil stays moist until it has rooted. Wait 8 weeks for the hibiscus cuttings to be thoroughly rooted and then transfer to its permanent spot.in your yard.

I cannot do free shipping. I take PAYPAL ONLY. Shipping costs include tracking. I will not ship to shipping addresses that have not been verified by listia. If your address has not been verified, please do so BEFORE bidding. NO EXCEPTIONS.

I wouldn't put them outside or in water for long. I would put them in a pot of soil until spring.

How tall do they get? Do they bush out? :)

They can grow to be a small tree about 15ft. You can trim them to be a tall bush like mine. I trim it back every year to keep it from getting too tall and keep it full.

I have listed seedlings from this plant and I will also be listing seeds from this plant as well. I have no seedlings at this time but will list more when they sprout up next spring and summer.

Thank you. I have a huge lot ad the nursery also. I try to have at least one of everything I sell. I love hibiscus. I have many different varieties of it. Actually, my tropical pink and yellow have blooms on them sitting in my bay window now. They didn't stop blooming from fall.
