Thank you! It's actually kind of hard to get rid of this. My grandma gave it to me when I was very young. It doesn't match any of my rooms now, and I hate for it to be boxed up. I thought letting someone else get the chance to enjoy it would be best!

Well, I am giving the lamp away free, and it's very fragile. I've had it since I was a young child and wouldn't want to hear that it was broken upon arrival. I know someone will want this piece for free, and cherish it like I did. I could drop the cost of shipping, sacrificing the packaging, but it's worth losing a few bids to get it somewhere safely. Thanks for looking, though!

where about in NW Arkasas are you. I have family in Fayetteville and Siloam Springs that can pick up for me, I will out to visit end of September and they will keep it safe for me. I want this lamp, I have a 6 month old grandaughter and it will beautiful in her room. I think it would be neat for it tobecome a gift from a gramma to a grandaughter again =)

Fayetteville is about 30 or so minutes from me. I would be more than willing to meet up with your family, or hold it until September to deliver it to you personally if you, win the auction. I agree that it would be very neat to be gifted from a Grandmother to her Granddaughter again! It would make me very happy indeed. ^_^

SHIPPING PRICE HAS BEEN UPDATED!!!! I still have to charge for the box and packing materials, but I should be able to get this shipped for cheaper. I will not insure, however, unless the winner pays additional. Additionally, regarding concerns about PayPal, I've never used the request money feature, so as long as payment is fully funded by PayPal balance. or from your bank account, it is free to send and receive. If you were prefer to use a different payment method, please send me a message and we can discuss other options. Thanks for looking and please check back as more auctions will be posted soon!

This lamp should fit in a medium flat rate Post Offie box for about $12.00. If you package it with lot of newspaper and have it listed as fragile it will arrive unbroken just about anywhere, except maybe Iraq. I understand your wanting to make sure that it doesn't get broken I also have objects that my Grndmother gave me that are very breakable. I shipped them across country in a the medium flat rate box and wrapped them in newspaper and then packed newspaper round the pieces, they arrived just fine and unbroken. Hope your auction goes fine. Good luck.

Honestly I think it is too wide for the one box, and too tall for the other, but, regardless, I don't think $14 is unreasonable. It has separate parts and would be wrapped in bubble wrap with newspaper as box filler so it doesn't shake. I think with that, it will be fine.

I think it's even faster and cheaper if you send it directly to a local agent using Western Union. Regardless, I think we should be able to work something out with a money order, either direct, to agent, or mailed.
