Pink guava, such as the Beaumont variety, is just one of many guava cultivars. Borne by trees that grow to 33 feet tall, the fruit has skin that is either green or yellow with pink flesh and lots of seeds. The pink guava tree is evergreen, with lovely, light copper-colored bark. Guava trees grow well in both dry and humid areas and thrive in most soil types, but do not tolerate frost.
