It looks somewhat adjustable, approx how long is it? I have a belly dancer friend with super tiny ankles, I wouldn't want to get it for her and have it be too big.

It's about 9 inches from the hook to the first chain loop that you can hook it to. There are five loops for adjusting the length. :)
