Great auction. Wish I had enough to bid. Roosevelt dimes are only 90% silver. Not .999. Just an fyi.

A silver dime contains 0.07234 troy oz of .999 silver. Multiply that by 50 and you get 3..61 troy ozs. of .999 silver. :)

Well, saying .999 pure silver is a bit misleading. You could honestly say that it is 3.61 ounces of silver, but in reality, none of it is .999 silver. I really like the auction either way, and anyone who bids on it will more than likely already know exactly what you mean, I just wanted to make sure it was clear :)

I thought a dime was 2.5g x .90 = 2.25g silver per dime no?
