Either you have to get a certain badge or reached a number of auctions up to be able to put gin up.
I'm not sure which one but that's why because you just started. It's fairly easy to get the privilege so good luck!

its been a while since ive gotten mine lol but i think you have to have a certain amount of auctions successful before you get that, and when you have it you wont have to wait for your credits anymore =) when your new to listia you wont get the credits until the buyer claims they got the item (thats why DC is so imprtant lol)

Have you tried the "bartering" section on your local craigslist site? Other then that I wouldnt know, but you never know, you could get lucky and find one on the other trading sites ;) I recently swapped for a new iPad (still waiting for it, but did none the less)
