The listing, Windows XP sp3 OEM software for Dell computers has ended.

This is the software that comes with a new dell computer. It does not come with a COA. That should be on your computer. The install is tied to your computer so it will only install on a DELL computer. It comes with a powerDVD DX 8.2 software. And a piece of hardware to in keeping with the Microsoft OEM license.
I will ship it Media Mail for $3.

this is will reinstall windows xp pro sp3 on any computer that was previously running it. It activates automatically thru the BIOS of a Dell, but if you have a COA with a xp pro key it can help you recover the OS on an hp, gateway, ibm,etc. The only downfall is you'd have to visit the manufacturers website to install some of the drivers, but even on a Dell, you'd have to do that...that's why there's a separate driver reinstall disk for each model...

yes most of that is true and I have done it. I called MS and they gave me a new #. But you should down load all the network drivers first then you can go back to dell and get the other drivers you need. Most older computers drivers are in xp already. Actually the new dell it came with did not have a separate driver cd. This is all that came with it. It had the xp down grade.

this disk it very handy being that sp3 is slipstreamed into it and winxp will no longer be available at stores. be sure you keep yourself a copy!!!!
