I have not subscribed to XM radio for a while, But I can guarantee you that this works 100%. I have plugged it in my car, and listened to the preview channel and the traffic and weather channel, and everything sounds GREAT!

Please note : You DO have to subscribe to XM radio in order for this to be a functional satellite radio. If you do not subscribe you will hear two stations, the preview/advertising channel, and the traffic and weather channel.
