There are no such thing as a 12" necklace. Measure from end to end. I'm assuming it's a 24".

Man if you could get a picture of that jt would help. Magnet wont stick to filled or plated jewelery either however heres a test hold a magnet to the clasp. If it stick to any art...let us know.
