I actually have two of them (one came with Motion Control pack and other came with a game) and they can be used with a few games without motion controller... Eye of Judgement uses a playmat that the Eye reads during the game, and a few games use the Eye for screenshots (example Burnout Paradise takes a pic to send to opponents you take out or who take you out). I honestly do not know -.-
I bought it thinking I could make videos or take pictures from my PS3 but I guess its almost like the Kinect for Xbox I guess? I'm really not sure but that's what I've been told.
I dont have any games the require it so i just figured someone on Listia might need/want it more than I do.

I think you also need the motion controller to use it with video games, but it does say on the sony website it can be used for video chatting as well as capturing audio, videos and photos. Cool auction fanned and watching.

Yeah you do need the motion controller to use it for games but I don't have any games that require it plus when I bought it I didn't know you needed the motion controller too x.x.
I never took the time to figure it out, I have a laptop now with a webcam now so I dont need it anyways x3
I'm sure someone else will put it to good use ^-^

This is used for video chats pics and a few games, this does not need the ps move items its nothing like the xbox 360 kinect. Think of skype but on tv and able to talk to friends that are on your friends list when online.
