This is something perfect for all I love Lucy fans. This is a magazine of Song Hits magazine with Lucille Ball on the cover. I'm unsure of the exact date, but I do know it is from the early - mid 1940's, long before she made it big with I Love Lucy costarring along side her then husband Desi Arnaz. The magazine is in very nice condition. Other than a tiny bit of yellowing, and a small crease at the upper right hand corner of the magazine, it's just as it appeared in the 40's. There never was a shipping label. This probably won't get to you by Christmas, because the auction ends very close to Christmas, but if you want to gift it late, it's perfect, or if someone you know who loves Lucy and has a birthday around this time or an anniversary. Or if you are just a collector of memorabilia. Old magazines are more a collector's market than a reseller's if you want to buy this with the purpose of reselling it might not be for you. You can expect to get maybe $50 at the most if you're lucky from this. Keep in mind when buying vintage and antiques, just because it's old doesn't mean it's worth more!
