Included are three Time magazines from various months and days in 1939. One has Nelson Rockefeller on the cover, one has Edouard DaLadier on he cover, and the other has Gustaf V on the cover. They are all in very nice condition as well. All of the pages in all of the magazines are in tact so you can read any of the articles during this time. On Gustaf's cover there is a small tear at the upper right hand corner of the cover. On Edouard's magazine there is some areas of the lower left hand side near the binding where there is white possibly from water damage, however, the rest of the magazine has no water damage. On Nelson's magazine there are a few small creases. There are no adhesive shipping labels, but there are embedded printed shipping labels on the backs of the magazines. On the back of Nelson's magazine, there is an ad for Spam, on the back of Edouard's magazine there is an ad for Camel cigarettes, and on the back of Gustaf's magazine there is an ad for Lucky Strike cigarettes. All of these brands are still available today. These magazines were released in 1939, when Time was only 16 years old! If you are a reseller, this might not be for you as old magazines don't usually sell for a ton of money. But if you are a collector they are perfect. I'd say they're worth about $40 but that's just my guess. Nelson's magazine is the May 22nd, 1939 edition, Edouard's magazine is the June 5th, 1939 edition, and Gustaf's magazine is the October 30th edition of Time. If you would like to get these officially appraised you can do so for free by googling the Antique's Roadshow website. When you get to the site, look for the link appraisers at the bottom of your screen. Sort them by specialty and find manuscripts. There are several contact numbers and emails for getting a better understanding of the resell value.
