you must be pretty young then, LOL. there is considerable difference in size. the small ones just dont do the cool stuff the original ones did.

then there was kids like my brother who wanted to see what would happen if he stuck one end in one hole of an outlet and the other in the other hole of the outlet...! they really arent electric, LOL

is it metal or plastic? some of the newer small ones are plastic, We lived in a 2 story house so it was fun to take it to the top of the stairs and watch it climb down.
