The listing, Asus M4A78 Plus socket AM2+ Motherboard has ended.

This was my main computer board for 3+ yrs. Board will NOT post to bios. Not sure why, No onboard video, Was a great board when it worked. Never overclocked. May just need a new bios chip. Specs are Socket am2+, 4 DDR 2 Ram slots 32GB Max, 7.1 HD Audio, Crossfire Ready, 6 Sata 2 ports. USB 2.0, E-Sata port. Bid with knowing that this board does NOT currentally work.

Correction on the specs, 16GB max memory size, up to 10666 speed.

No, This is just for the motherboard with original box, manual, driver disk, and backplate.

Hey Tech Where are the reset pins on this motherboard to flash bios? Has that been tried yet?

I have done the reset bios settings, no change. Not sure if it was just the video card that went bad. Just upgraded to a new board and ram when it quit.

I'm not sure, I tried what I know by resetting bios settings, that didn't work. I couldn't flash the bios without video. I never tried a new video card so it may work. I just figured it was a good excuse to upgrade.

hi i have the same motherboard i had to send it back to Asus 4 times becouse the chip set went out that couse the video not to work

Thanks for the info, I ran the board for 3.5 yrs without a problem. Was using the AMD 550 BE. When it quit I decided to upgrade insted. Currentaly running an msi with 8GB ripjaws and an AMD 6 core.

Thats My current MoBo running a Phenom II x3 445 rena core. Now you see why I was asking so much lol you have two video slots I only have 1, And I would rather run 2 video cards lol. Ty for any help. already fanned ya. good Luck.

Running 2 video cards was the reason I originaly bought it, But never actually ran 2 cards. When it quit I was running a 5770, that are known to have cooling issues.
