It's great for alot of things.. but yes.. it makes it easy for the kids to get to things.

uumm... yeah, I think so. it's almost 5 ft tall. It depends on how tall your closet rod is. All the others i know have usually hung it from a plant hanger hook from the ceiling. Or one that extends from the wall.
