Have you tried holding down the center (pink) button and the menu button at the same time for about 15 seconds? I was told by a service guy this resets and some times it works to free up the directional buttons. Let me know if it works. F&W Which generation is this one?. How many GB?

i will deff try that to see if it works i dont know what generation its 2 years old and was given to my daughter but i didnt approve of the songs, so i took it and put it away she was only 5 and the songs parents let thir kids listen too is unbelievable i gont know what gb either how do i find out. its just like the pic shown and ill upload the actual pics soon sorry for any inconvienance

It looks like a 5th generation. rounded on the corners? Thanks for looking for me. Charge it and see if it works. You should be able to do what I said when plugged in.

as i stated in the discription i will need to be fixed if you or someone you know can fix it then its worth it i was told it can be reset by holding down the menu button and the middle button (pink) button that it will reset i tried but i may not be holding it down long enough or maybe too long it powers on or off when i tried sorrry but i did state that it needs to be fixed
