Fruits are dark green, white-spined and straight, making them ideal slicers. Average 8 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches in diameter when mature. Flesh is crisp, white and tender. Multiple disease resistant. This packet will plant approximately 19 hills.

In full sun, sow 5 seeds over a hill 12 inches tall and 2 feet across with well-drained soil. For smaller gardens, plant alongside fence or trellis. When plants are 2 inches tall, thin to 3 plants per hill. Plant at 3-week intervals up to midsummer for fresh cucumbers all season. Keep picked.

I have used these before for making pickles. You can use almost any variety of cuke to pickle. Also you can pickle various other veggies. You are more than welcome to friend me on facebook and I can send you some of my recipies. I love talking about canning and stuff. It is good to see people taking an interest in it. We also make our own butter, butter milk and can most everything out of the garden :)

nice auction!! I am already getting the gardening itch, the snow seems to do that for me lol....I love to can, my goal is to be able to eventually have no need for a store, its gonna take awhile, but the process is rewarding for sure! :) f/w
