This handy little gadget will make seedling starting pots from newspaper. It is wood and is a great way to recycle newspapers and save on buying peat pots. You simply cut newspaper into 3.5" x 10" strips, wrap the strips around the press and press into the mold. Remove the little pot, fill with your favorite seed starting mix and plant your seeds. Once the seedlings are ready to set out, just water thoroughly and plant the whole thing. The roots will grow through the wet newspaper and the paper will decompose, inriching the soil. A Win/Win situation.
