For those who have spent time in the French Quarter and sipped a Mint Julip or a hurricane on a balcony or to those others of you who just like Gumbo, you can appreciate the culture of the city care forgot.and remember NOLA by wearing this Gothic Authentic Voodoo Blessed Bone Skull Bracelet.

This bone resin bracelet was hand pressed and carved and the beads were gently hand-painted and sewn onto the heavy black cord elastic. This is a nice high quality piece of historical jewelry. It was made and sold in the sixties by street vendors down in Louisiana for good luck and bought mostly by tourists and locals. Goes well with the best Gothic outfits and it is quite Punk Rock cool! But normal people can wear it as well. Remember Halloween is coming and you can impress your friends and terrify your colleagues by wearing this to the office party.

How old is it? Is it made out of real bone?? :)

It is vintage, I am not sure exactly how old. I don't know if it is real bone or resin, probably synthetic resin or plastic but it looks and feels like bone. My uncle bought it from a street vendor in the sixties and it was blessed by a voodoo priest according to him. He wore it gambling and for good luck. It is kinda a heirloom but I have two of them from him and so I am giving this one away because I was told long ago you cannot have something good unless you give it away and this bracelet gave my uncle good luck and me good luck...so I am passing it on to you!

not cool. this is scary. i heard something bad about this before, maybe in a movie or on tv, something and it caused problems , oh it was on paranormal state, it was causing weird things to happen, it was a doll from new orleans that was voodoo. id watch out for this one, cant nothing good come from it

Being from the bayou,hunting and fishing them all my life.yes alligater also.Bourbon is about 45 minutes away.I had to laugh.This is a very nice piece,probably extremely hard to find even locally.Street venders are not voodoo priests here.There are voodoo shops and even priestresses and priests the real ones dont advertise to out of towners.Bid because its so nice and its hard to find.A great piece to wear,not fear..lol,ps it will bring you luck because you will be the lucky bidder...I love your pics.
