Got these for my wife at XMAS she doesn't like them and I don't have a receipt to take them back.The inner diminutions is 11/2 inches.It says nickel safe on the back.As you can see by the picture I paid $28 for them.

I would say they are not heavy,I don't wear ear rings so I don't know how they feel...LOL
