Description

The listing, Jewelweed Soap has ended.

Jewelweed has been used by the Native Americans for relief from rashes and itching for a variety of ailments. Poison ivy, sumac, oak, and rashes of many kinds plus used for bug bites and stings for relief. Many soapmakers are now making this soap and my friend and I sell most of our stock to a major supplier. We are wildcrafters and make this soap for ourselves. It sells great at flea markets and to gardeners, fishermen, hunters, hikers, utility workers or anyone who enjoys the outdoors. We hike most of the months throughout the year, we always carry some with us. This is not a bath soap but a soap used to help diffuse the poisons and dry up any rashes if you do get one. Not to be used around eyes.
We make this soap from fresh jewelweed picked in the Appalachian Mountains. We add no perfumes or colors and don't harm no critters doing it. We make this for our personal use and is made extra strong.
This auction is for three pocket sized soaps. Easy to carry in your pocket or fishing tackle box or even your saddle bags.
I will pay for half the cost of shipping, buyer can pay for other half. Shipping is killin me.

+++++++ I will add ten jewelweed seed with this auction +++ Three soap bars and ten seed to start your own patch, PLUS i will forward my recipe for the soap +++++++

That soap works too. Had the need to try it on a poison oak rash I got while helping Cantakerous pick the jewelweed. Now I keep some in my shower because I stay in the poison oak patches picking stuff. Now the leaves are off the stems and it will still get ya if you bump into it or worse still try to pick it thinking it's yellowroot. They look a lot a like and now I'm all broke out again. Out comes the soap and no worries.

Hello my friend how are you? If someone is cutting poison ivy within a mile I seem to get it and if I don't take care of it immediately it ends up everywhere in my eyelids and places I cant even mention on here. I really need this because I almost always have to get an injection just to get rid of it. Glad to see you r still here. Hope you had a great Christmas and I wish you a healthy happy new year to you, your family and your friend Marie too.

did I once see you say you were on ebay too? I keep gettin outbid on the seed I may just have to break down and cash buy it, and I'd rather pay a person than a big company and Happy New Year, keep warm and don't let the soap curdle lol :)

Ha, I make the glycerin soap so I don't have to worry none about curdling, lol. Anyone wanting seed can message me and I will do a bin. I'm not on ebay and I try to collect seed that is not normally on shelves at the stores.
