This is a Jason Odom- 1996 Classic Rookie in excellent condition! A former college & professional football player who was an offensive tackle in the NFL for 4 seasons in the 1990s. Odom played college football for the University of Florida, & thereafter, he played professionally for the Buccaneers of the NFL. He received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he was an offensive lineman for coach Steve Spurrier's Gator football team from 1992 to 1995. He was a 4-year starter, a team captain in 1995, a 1st-team All-SEC selection in 1994 & 1995, & a unanimous 1st-team All-American in 1995. He was also the recipient of the SEC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy, recognizing the best blocker in the SEC, in 1994 & 1995. He graduated from Florida with a bachelor's degree in exercise & sports science in 1996, & was inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 2009. He was chosen in the 4th round (96th pick overall) of the 1996 Draft by the Buccaneers, & played offensive tackle for the Buccaneers for 4 seasons from 1996 to 1999. He started 41 of the 46 games in which he played. Currently he has served as a Hillsborough County Sheriff's Deputy in Tampa, Florida since 2008.
