The listing, 1933 GOLD ST. GAUDENS COPY (NOT MINIATURE, REAL SIZE COPY) GOLD PLATED SILVER???? has ended.
This is 1933 Gold St. Gaudens copy #OR1361. It is actual size of real thing. Im not sure what type of metal it is. I think its gold plated silver. I now they made copies that were gold over silver, real gold, etc..... Its in a s case. I never took it out. Was going through my coins and found it. Hopefully someone will enjoy it. If u have any questions feel free to ask. Gin bonus. Ty
to be honest with u i dont know. tried researching and came up with nothing. thats why i took a pic of the copy #s hoping someone else would know something about it.
Researched the copy number or just the coin itself? Ive done research also and i know different companys put out different types of metals. They made real gold ones, gold over sterling, and gold plated ones. Doesnt stick to magnet. What makes me think its sterling underneath is because the rim has that sterling look. U know when u have gold over sterling jewelry and it starts to get a copper rainbow look to it, well thats how this looks
