The listing, Lot of 2 Antique Life Magazines Good Condition 1883, 1896 Not Reprints! has ended.
These magazines are in "good" condition. Meaning that considering how old they are they are not in very good condition, or excellent condition. There is some wear on the upper left of the spine, which puts a tear from the top to the top staple throughout both magazines. The 1883 magazine has written in pencil on the cover "8-" (without the quotes). Both of the magazines have considerable yellowing to the covers, pages, and backs. There are some dirty spots on the 1896 magazine. No pages are missing. The 1883 magazine was the November, 1st edition. The 1896 was the April, 23rd edition. Please HANDLE THESE WITH CARE. They are NOT for reading!!! These are for collectors only. If your only intent is to resell, you won't get hundreds of dollars and be able to retire early or anything. These magazines sell for around $25 - $50 a piece. I bought them for $27 a piece including shipping. Keep this in mind when bidding. Both of these together are worth $54 (more/less). This will ship to you via USPS Priority Mail in a non-bendable envelope and USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail envelope. I will ask the postal worker to mark "Do Not Bend" and "Fragile" on the package. When you open, please be sure to handle with care! I will ship as soon as I am humanly able to do so, it may be a few business days after the close of the auction and I have received your shipping info, so please be patient.
