this is for 3 cards up front (ALSO)
i have alot of pokemon cards and im looking to down size so the auction is for random cards ill send you three cards for every 1200 points if the bids get above 4000 ill throw in a few more rare cards

that's pretty ridiculous. just 3 cards for 1200 credits? even if they are rare, that's very overpriced. i can get every last one of those cards in booster packs, like i already have done, for a much cheaper price.

seeing as how 1200 credits is only 1.20 cash i think im being very reasonable.
and if you take the time to read my listing it says 3 cards up front and if the bidding gets over 1200 ill throw in 3 more cards.and just about all my cards are base set cards.

so on listia, it really depends on the cards you are getting. a lot of my auctions that i've won were only one card and it went for higher than 2000 credits. however, since these cards are random, i can see why someone might think 1200 might be a lot. people should only count amount of credits to a certain amount of money for auctions with set prices usually, like gift cards, or watched the patterns of other auctions for the same product to see how much credits it goes for. just wanted to state this before i saw pages of argument about credit currency like in other auctions i've seen lol

if you can buy a base set booster pack for 1.20 then you better do it.
the last booster pack i looked up was 350.00 from the base set.

it does not matter if they're base set cards or not. everyone has them already because they were mass-produced when they first started making the cards. i had the whole collection of the first 150 within the first couple months of collecting.

go and look them up and you'll see that base set cards sell for more than the second print.

just to let everyone know thiers two ways to value credits one way is if you buy them its 300 credits makes a 1.00 and if you get them from your auctions its 1000. credits to 1.00.
if you dont believe me go and look at a gift card and you'll see that a 20.00 gift card gos for 20,000. credits.

for gift cards that is true that 1000 credits go for $1, but if you look at other auctions like rare coins, cards for collections, phones, and other stuff that aren't gift cards, most go under price. this is why listia is such a great place to get stuff. i've seen costly stuff like ipod touches that would go for $200-$300 never reach higher than 150000 credits. though you might get lucky once in a while to get a high bidding auction.

just to clear things up this auction is for 3 random cards if the bidding go's past 1200 you get three more cards thats 6 cards for 1200 the higher the bid go's the more cardsyour going to get.
