Entirely hand made. Measures just over 8 1/2" from the base of the cross to the end of the butterfly on the tail and approximately 5" across.

It is shuttle tatted. Sorry about the kinda crappy colour in the photo. It's really a BRIGHT raspberry pink colour. LOL Good luck!

My grandmother use the shuttle i never could get the hang of it.

It took me about four or five tries before I got "the flip" right, but since then I've taken off and never looked back. LOL I've heard that needle tatting is easier, though. I've got several more of this style in other colours hanging around. I might be putting more up.
