i think if you put vinegar on it and it stays shiny its real if it turns green its not, just put it on a little spot just in case it pulls the plating off, good luck.
Technibond is as the one guy said used alot on hsn and by other jewelers because unlike nickel silver it does not irritate the skin or soak through the gold and discolor it. It's fairly common. You can just google technibond gold and read a bit. I am familiar with it. It's quite nice actually. Alot of people don't know the difference because it looks about the same. Still very nice though.
on the clasp there should be a stamed marking 10k,14k or18k if it is real if it is anything else it will have no mark or have Gf or Gp after a number it is blinging i would be courious to know
