The chain silver?

The chain is stamped 925 and the dolphin nose ring is stamped 925 the stamp on the dolphin nose ring can be seen with 20X magnification. The 925 stamp means the item is 92.5% silver with 7.5% being usually copper.Pure silver cannot be used in making jewelry as it is extremely malleable and it can suffer damage easily. It also tends to get very soft, even in conditions of normal temperature. That is why 925 silver is used and not the pure form of the precious metal.
