Questions & Comments
i agree with davishka, charge whatever the heck you want. i've paid 5k for a bracelet on here and i've paid over 4k for earrings. even though people do value the points differently (which is kinda the best part of listia) 4999 as a starting bid for this guitar is a total steal. when i get my sellers wings i'm gonna GIN my guitar since i play bass now and i'm gonna GIN it for a hell of a lot more than 4999. i fanned bcz you seem nice. lol, look at me babbling on. i havent even been on listia long enough to be giving out advice. catch ya later ^_^
That's way too many points for this. They're good guitars for their price, but come on, that's a lot of points. Interested in a cash sale? Keep it reasonable.
4999 is a start. Let's do some math. 300 credits for $1; 3000 credits for $10; so 4500 credits for $15, and then another 500 credits for free at the beginning when we all started. I'd say $15 for a FIRST ACT electric guitar is pretty cheap. Bought it off a friend/neighbor, some 8 years ago. As for a cash sale, I'd let it go for $35 easy. But you pay the shipping. I have a good used 100WATT RADIO-SHACK (MPS-31) I'll throw in for FREE SHIPPING with the purchase of BOTH @ $100... It's a STEAL. The AMP alone's worth $100...FREE SHIPPING in the lower 48 states.
I don't know where you get your figures for the points thing, this is all new to me. I generally pay ten to twenty dollars for most of the First acts, and around 20 for shipping, usually. I got two shipped together for 30. Don't need the amp, it would be heavy and cost more to ship than I'd like. I have three amps, don't need another. If I had that many points, I'd do that, just because it's points. What is the model number? I have one very much like it, but it doesn't have the bottom horn or the pick guard. Otherwise, it's the same single white humbucker model. I just sold their version of a Les Paul, had their teleclone, and now have a strat version and the more rare Volkswagen Garage special. I have paid as little as five bucks for a snigle pickup version. I trade them all the time, never get more than 40 for most models, never pay more than 30 for most, though I paid a little more for the VW and LP versions.
New to me too. I need my Sellers' wings badge so I can get the (GIN) thing, know what I mean? Besides, I very well can't take it to the guitar shop for a trade in, they all ready refused to do that. Anyhow, thanks for looking!
As for the model number, I'm not seeing it anywhere, sorry if this disappoints you. However, it came with the whammy bar, but I will have to throw it in when I find it from my stash somewhere. I'll be sure to package it separately, and send it in the same box/carton.
There's also no guarantee that it's the same original whammy bar, it may not fit once I find it I'll check & respond back to you in an email. Thanks for looking.
It's missing the model #, and the whammy bar. (Tremolo bar). If I find it (the bar) It may or may not be the same one that belongs to it. I may have inadvertently slod it on a Washburn guitar. Either way it works well without it.
Yes, I checked it thoroughly, on the back side, and had it all apart, then reassembled, then retuned. I haven't checked for it under the pick guard. If it's there, I'd tell you. just need to chill out for a few, then I'll get back to it. Thanks for asking.
