The listing, Sterling Silver and Amethyst Ring - Women's Size 7 has ended.

Beautiful sterling and oval-cut amethyst ring. The stone is medium-purple -- not too dark/not too light. I used to love wearing it with all my purple clothes, and it blended well with almost all of them. I will try to take a better photo of it in natural light soon (can't get out of the house right now-- have a cold).

OU-- Stamped as in .925? Let me check. No-- I'm surprised! (The other one IS stamped, but I got it in a jewelry store.) This one I bought at a craft fair; it was made by a local craftsperson, I think, but it could have also been imported from India or someplace like that. It's definitely sterling, but could be some kind of amalgam?-- I used to wear it practically daily, for about 10 years, and it feels and reacts to my skin like .925 sterling. What I DO know for sure is this: it's definitely not silver plate, because I've had it forever, and it is still beautiful and untarnished. I regularly used to polish it with a silver cloth.
